Partners Serbia leads the implementation of the project "Strengthening the Rule of Law in Serbia: Towards Effective Data Protection in an Era of Digital Surveillance" in consortium with Belgrade Center for Human Rights (BCHR) and local partners SINHRO, Team42, and Sumadija Center for Civic Activism Res Publika. Funded by the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia, the initiative aims to overcome systemic barriers to privacy protection, combat illegal surveillance, strengthen legal and oversight frameworks, empower civic actors, and mobilize citizens across Serbia to protect their privacy rights and support efforts to align national practices with international standards.

Key action clusters encompass advocacy through policy documents, international engagement, and consultative dialogues, research via continuous legal monitoring and thematic reports, and initiation of strategic legal cases in national and international courts. It also enables support to CSOs and lawyers via trainings and mentoring, production of legal guides, and subgrants for local "Privacy Nodes," The public outreach includes production of communication materials and educational toolkits, organization or Parthers Serbia flagship annual "Privacy Week" events, and educational programmes for young professionals to raise awareness and build a culture of digital rights.
