Partners Serbia and the group of experts presented a Model Rulebook on Standards of Data Anonymisation in Court Decisions developed within the project. The Model Rulebook establishes a balance between the right of the public to have access to the work of courts and the need to protect privacy of participants in court proceedings.

Partners Serbia also presented findings of the analysis of the existing rules and practice of data anonymisation in court decisions in Serbia.

The conference was opened by Partners Serbia and USAID Project JRGA representatives. Representatives of the Supreme Court of Cassation and the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection also participated at the opening panel.

The conference gather approximately 80 participants, representing courts in Serbia, other public institutions, the bar, the media, civil society organizations, and international organizations and embassies.

The final project publication, consisting of the analysis, the Model Rulebook and quick advises for successful anonymisation will soon be available.
